Fair Association News

Our next Fair Association meeting will take place Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30pm by way of virtual meeting room.  Meeting room log-in information will be made available a few days before the meeting.
§  As I am sure most of you know by now, we will not be able to hold our fair as we have traditionally done due to the Brooklyn Fairgrounds being unavailable this year.  At our meeting this past week, we began potential alternatives that would allow us to have some type of event in a manner that is safe and beneficial for everyone.  We encourage everyone’s input as we explore potential alternate options.  All ideas are being accepted and explored at this time.
At the May meeting we are scheduled to vote on our Fair Book Cover and T-Shirt designs. Please see the attached flyer for full details on both contests.  All completed art work must be either scanned and emailed or sent to me before Friday, May 15th so that we have time to format them for everyone to see at the meeting.
Our fair sponsorship campaign is still ongoing though I know it is difficult to participate at this time with so many businesses being closed and so many out of work.  We will extend the sponsorship campaign to hopefully be able to continue once our state returns to some sort of more normal status.  If you do have or get any sponsorships in the coming months you can mail them to the office.  The mail is being held for us at the post office and we do get it regularly so it is safe to address mail to the office.
