Below is a list of 4-H accounts currently established through the University of Connecticut Foundation. To make a gift to one of these accounts through the UConn Foundation, please click here to access the gift form page. Please note that once on the gift form page, you must click on the Other Purpose line, and then identify the specific fund you wish to support. Please enter the account number when specifying the fund.

Funds will be used for educational programs, support of volunteer and staff activities and facilities, at the 4-H Center at Auer Farm.

To support current expenditures of the 4-H Program.

For general 4-H support in Fairfield County

To be spent on 4-H activities, programs, trips, donor recognition.
Matching gifts from employers
Check with your employer to see if they
have a matching gift program. It may be possible to double the
amount going to 4-H by filling out a simple form.
Corporate Contributions
Many companies donate to organizations recommended by their employees.
Check with your employer to find out about their corporate contributions
program.
Memorial Contributions
Notification of donations made in memory of a friend or loved one
can be sent to the family informing them of your thoughtful tribute.
Commemorative Gifts
Can't think of what to give someone? How about giving a donation
to 4-H in honor of their birthday, retirement, or other special
occasion?
Transfer of Stock
or Securities
Donating appreciated stock or other securities usually offers better
tax advantages than donating cash.
Deferred Gifts
Bequests
You can name the UConn Foundation 4-H Centennial Account to receive
funds through your will. You can choose a specific amount, a
percentage of the estate or a residual after other distributions
from your estate are fulfilled.
Life Insurance or Retirement Funds
You can name the UConn Foundation 4-H Centennial Account as the
primary or secondary beneficiary of an existing life insurance
policy or a new policy. Similarly, you can name the foundation
to receive proceeds from retirement funds after your death.

Ways to Help
Become
a volunteer Leader
Give your time and expertise by serving as an adult 4-H volunteer.
You can choose to be a club leader, join an advisory group,
be a camp volunteer, or a judge/evaluator for special 4-H events. There is so much you can do.
